Frequently Asked Questions

Ideally, one or two months before the celebration. This provides enough time for calm planning and execution, which also means a more favorable price. If we don't have many orders, we can accept the work with a one-week deadline, but in such an urgent case, the length of the projection may be limited.

We believe that content is often more important than technical quality. If you have favorite, but poor-quality pictures, we try to enhance them as best as possible—AI and Photoshop are a great help here.

We typically create projections that are 4–8 minutes long. Our experience shows that this is the length where the magic of the novelty still has an intense effect, maintaining the viewers' full attention.

On average, we use 8 pictures for one minute of video. If the animation is detailed and requires many unique elements, it may take longer, but the result will be more spectacular, and fewer photos will fit in. Newer pictures from the same theme are shown quickly, resulting in an average of 8 photos/minute.

Of course! We are happy to create projections for corporate events, museums, or even commercial films. An example that was not made from photos but illustrations can be viewed at the bottom of the page. We also create animations from children's drawings, but we only upload these as examples with permission. (See section below)

During a personal meeting, non-verbal communication also helps us take notes on the memories associated with the pictures, allowing us to create a truly personalized short film. But a few lines related to the photos are also "worth gold" in helping us decide what kind of jokes are appropriate or what music to use.

Upon personal receipt, we provide a non-disclosure agreement and a receipt for the number of your pictures. Security is also guaranteed for digital submission: all relevant rules can be found in detail on our Privacy Policy subpage.

The price is primarily determined by the length of the short film. But we also take several aspects into account, such as: whether we need to create a short film with many unique requests within a short deadline, or if we can rely on our creativity throughout the process? Will it be for private individuals from family photos, or is it a corporate commercial? For private individuals, one minute of film from family photos is usually around 90 EUR, which is roughly the same for a wedding. The price of corporate commercials is based on discussion.

Claire Young illustrations

This animation was made from Claire Young's illustrations for Christmas.

We also create greetings from children's drawings for Christmas or birthdays. Although the example here was not made from children's drawings, it clearly demonstrates how we animate drawn characters. We can even realize a fictional story, or we can invent the story based on the drawings. We often combine drawings with real photos!
